Pet Memorial

We rescued our dear, sweet Paige at three months old, and she was with us until August 12, 2023, when she passed at 15 years, eight months, and one day old. She quickly became an emotional support animal, helping me through every depressive episode and anxiety attack. When my first nephew was born, they quickly bonded, and she became the same support system for him as well. She loved everyone and greeted friends and family with hugs and kisses at the door.

Her favourite spots were on a vent in summer to cool down, jumping and playing in the snow, and looking out the window from the couch. She was incredibly sweet-natured but had a mischievous side: she was a snack thief, and she often snuck inside, tracking muddy paw prints throughout the house. She even managed to get a container of sour cream off the counter during taco night one night—we had a sleepless night after that! Her favourite weather was a rainy day. When she left us, the thunderstorm outside passed, and the sun came out.

She will be missed forever by family and friends. It brings us peace to know she was at home supported by loved ones, just as she supported all of us throughout her life.
