Tiger

In Loving Memory of Tiger
June 3, 2009 – May 9, 2025

Tiger came into our lives as a 3-month-old. old puppy named Romeo. After meeting him, we decided he was a “Tiger”, and he lived up to his name as a spunky little dog full of energy even into his senior years.

He soon became best buddies with our 6-year-old golden retriever. They loved running around, barking, and chasing each other, and then cuddling up together to sleep. I hope they are running and playing together once again. Tiger had a special bond with his “Grandpa” enjoying lots of quality time together and walks down “squirrel alley.” He even learned to distinguish the sound of Grandpa’s car and would run to the front window and excitedly watch him come to the door.

Tiger also loved spending time with his human siblings. He was always excited to see them and
sit as close to them as possible on the couch, although he never left room for anyone to sit
between him and me, even if it meant climbing over them to get to me.

Tiger has seen me through almost 16 years of life’s many changes – joy, sadness, and everything in between – and I will miss his constant companionship and unconditional love. We spent countless hours together, including time on our favorite walks where he sniffed every tree, pole, rock, and anything else that caught his interest. There is an empty spot in my home office, in the kitchen at my feet, on my living room couch, next to me on my bed, and especially in my heart. Every time I walk through the door, I wish he were still there waiting for me.

Rest in peace, sweet boy. You will be forever missed.
