Pet Memorial

Crash Klassen

We got Crash in March of 2010. He was a rescue being fostered by our niece, and he picked us out of a bunch of people at a family party. He and his sister were from the States. Mom was a stray, so they weren’t very well nourished. He had Demodex and was on Ivermectin for quite a while after we got him until the fur grew back on his face. He was part Jack Russell and part Australian Cattle Dog.

It would take too long to write all the wonderful things and share stories about our sweet boy!  He was smart, funny, loving, sweet, stubborn, and could change his look with the angle of his ears or the look in his eyes. He understood so much of what we said to him, and we understood so much of what he “said” to us. He outlived two brothers from other mothers, both German Shepherds, and they were the best of friends. They played, slept, ate, and did everything together. Often, they would lay sleeping, backs touching, or paws on each other’s paws. He was patient with the littles when they came to visit but always relieved when they went home. He will be missed a great deal and will always be in our hearts and thoughts!  Until we meet again, RIP sweet boy! Have fun with your brothers and friends at the Rainbow Bridge!
