Pet Memorial
Rusty “Roo” Boldt
We brought you home in 2006 as a little companion for our elderly pug, Billy. Right away, the two of you were inseparable. I remember you always playfully nipping at his heels and coming home to the two of you squeezed into your small bed together in the kitchen.
You came home with “Mousey,” your stuffed mouse toy, and it was the only toy you ever wanted to play with. We eventually had to get a second one, which was the one you kept all these years. Even when you started to slow down, you would always have your mouse near.
When I think of my favourite memories of you, I always think how lucky I was to have you as my quiet, cuddly companion. Whether I was working on school assignments, reading a book, or sleeping in bed, you were always right there next to me. Whenever I stopped petting you, you would always look up at me and whine for more pets.
I always knew this day would have to come, but when it finally did, boy did it ever hit me like a ton of bricks. I miss you more than you’ll ever know, but I’m so happy that you are no longer in pain.
I know that you are up there with Billy cuddling in a nice comfy bed again.
You will always be in our hearts.
Rest In Peace, Rusty. You’ll always be my little Roo.
