Bailey

Bailey (aka Bugaboo)

We had to send you on to your next life journey, the Rainbow Bridge, tonight.

A decision not made easily, but we could see you were growing weary and not able to do many of the things you once did and enjoyed anymore.
You came into our lives unexpectedly in 2007, but still most welcomed. I still remember that October day – I arrived home from work and my husband said, “go look in the bedroom”. I did, and there you were.. a tiny black kitten, probably about 6 or 7 weeks old. My stepdaughter had brought you home after school. They weren’t sure if I wanted to keep you.. (are you kidding me).. Of COURSE I did! I loved you the minute I laid eyes on you. So tiny, you fit in my hand. I’d always wanted a black kitten and now I had one. I had you.
You’ve been such a good boy and friend in the 16.5 wonderful years you gave us.. loyal, gentle, affectionate and so good natured. The female cats always wanted to snuggle up to you, and you’d let them with so much patience, even though you were probably annoyed at times. We couldn’t have asked for a better fur family member❤️
The hard part begins for us now, because grief is the price we pay for love.  Your pain has ended and we’ll take it from here. You’ll be missed so very much Bailey, but we know you’re in a better place now, free of any pain and sickness. You’re able to run and play again, like you did during your earthly life, not to mention all the treats you could possibly ever want. You loved your treats right up to the end.
Say hi to all your fur brothers and sister for us.. Chester, Roo, Norman, Buddy and Bobo. You’ve gained your angel wings, and you earned them.

Until we meet again sweet boy. We love you.
